My intention is to create a meaningful, welcoming, and supportive environment for clients seeking guidance, understanding, or simply a safe space to be heard. I recognize that stepping into therapy can feel intimidating or vulnerable, and I want you to know that we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while remaining grounded in your goals for therapy.
My goal is to walk alongside my clients as they navigate everyday stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, personal growth, and deeper, unhealed wounds. Whatever brings you to therapy, we will work collaboratively to help you find your voice, reconnect with your values, and develop the insight and tools needed to create meaningful healing and positive change.
Clients I Support
Hola, hola! My name is Anaiee, and I am a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I am a first-generation college graduate and the eldest daughter of a semi-traditional Mexican household. I spent much of my upbringing in Compton and Lynwood, California, where I developed a deep understanding of the relationship between struggle, resilience, and hard work.
Growing up, I carried a deep orgullo (pride) for my culture and community while also becoming aware of the cultural taboos, barriers, and social injustices that impact the communities around me. These experiences played an important role in shaping my passion for mental health advocacy and increasing access to culturally responsive care. Throughout my academic and personal journey, I have had the privilege of learning from and connecting with people from many different cultures, backgrounds, and social environments. These experiences have encouraged me to remain curious, open-minded, and intentional in my work with clients from all walks of life.
My approach to therapy is grounded in recognizing each person's strengths while also acknowledging the impact of social injustices, relationships, and past experiences. I strive to approach therapy holistically by considering the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected parts of our overall well-being. My intention is to create a judgment-free space rooted in safety, honesty, compassion, and healing.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that connection is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process. I hope to build meaningful and trusting relationships with my clients where they feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. Through this connection, I hope to create a space where clients feel empowered to explore, grow, and heal.
If you are curious about starting therapy or wondering if we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out and schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation. I would be happy to learn more about what brings you to therapy and explore how I can best support you.
About
Outside of the therapy room, you can probably find me exploring a new coffee shop, spending time in nature, dancing, going to the movies, working out, or watching sports. I’m a big believer in the importance of community, so I love spending time with my partner, family, and friends.
When I’m not out enjoying time with my community, you can find me cozy at home cuddling with my two cats, Echo and Stormy. Overall, I love trying new things, exploring new places, and finding ways to stay connected to my roots and the people and experiences that have shaped who I am.
