Clients I Support
For anyone who is considering therapy, just know that I’m here to provide you an inclusive and non-judgmental space to process your feelings and move forward with dignity. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, particularly those who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+. I acknowledge the ways in which race, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status play a role in our quality of life and incorporate these factors into my sessions.
Hi, my name is Nidhi!
I believe that therapy is one of the most helpful tools in improving well-being. Mental health can often be a neglected aspect of overall health. There are so many individuals who are struggling and are rightfully feeling exhausted by it all. Therapy can give you the opportunity to work through these challenges and learn techniques for minimizing stress and anxiety. Life shouldn’t have to be so hard.
My approach to therapy has been significantly shaped by my identity. I was born in India and raised in the U.S. by two immigrant parents. I was the only person of South Asian descent in nearly every setting I was in during adolescence and even in my present-day life. I understand what it’s like when your identity dictates your experiences and the perception that others will have of you. As a result, I think it’s crucial to take identity into account when we think about contributors to the state of our mental health.
My therapy services are welcome to everyone. I structure my sessions according to a pace that you are comfortable with. It’s completely up to you as to what you want to share or discuss. My goal is to guide you towards healing and navigating life with more ease and contentment.
About
Beyond the Sessions
Outside of being a therapist, my family and other loved ones are a major part of my life. Spending time with them instantly makes me happier. I am also a huge fan of basketball, documentaries, spontaneous outings, and dogs. My idea of a self-care day has to include at least one of these things!
